At Akira Japanese Restaurant, we are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine and be able to lead our kitchen staff in preparing and cooking high-quality meals. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and be able to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining a clean kitchen and work areas. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
* Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
* Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
* Clean kitchen and work areas

**Requirements:**

* 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Strong background in Japanese cuisine
* Ability to lead and train staff
* Reliable and team-oriented individual
