Job Title: Head of Voice Department

The Victoria Conservatory of Music is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Voice Department as Head of Voice. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of music educators and performers who are dedicated to providing exceptional music education to students of all ages.

About the Role

The Head of Voice will be responsible for leading the Voice Department, including the development and implementation of curriculum, teaching, and assessment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in vocal pedagogy and performance, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Voice Department, including the development and implementation of curriculum, teaching, and assessment.
  • Provide artistic and pedagogical leadership to the Voice Faculty.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including students, parents, and community partners.
  • Manage the department budget and resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive music education program.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vocal pedagogy and performance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
