Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our Commercial & Private Wealth Management team at National Bank. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to drive business growth and provide exceptional client service.
About the RoleThis role involves developing strong relationships with small to medium-sized businesses, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals. You will work closely with our expert team to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic plans, and negotiate deals that meet the desired profitability criteria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a portfolio of key clients, identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships
- Conduct financial analyses and develop financing scenarios to meet client needs
- Negotiate terms and conditions of products with clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Work closely with colleagues across the Bank to leverage expertise and resources
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to inform business strategy
- University certificate and 7 years of experience in business development or a related field
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in finance or a related field
- Master's degree and 3 years of experience in business development or a related field
- Experience in financial statement analysis and negotiation skills
- Established professional network of contacts with local small and medium-sized businesses
