Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food and service standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
  • Prepare production reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food preparation, presentation, and serving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
