Job Summary

Lisa Mayer, CPA, Professional Corp is seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Senior to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements, planning and setting up accounting systems, supervising staff, training staff, analyzing clients' financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control, preparing financial information for individuals, departments or companies, preparing reports and audit findings, preparing financial statements and reports, recommending improvements to accounting systems and management practices, preparing income tax returns from accounting records, analyzing financial documents and reports, examining accounting records, providing financial, business and tax advice, assisting in the planning and execution of financial statement audits, keeping financial records and establishing, maintaining and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, and overseeing payroll administration.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Chartered Accountants (CA) Designation or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
  • 5 years or more of experience in financial management, preferably in a senior role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks, Caseware/Caseview, MS Office, TaxPrep, Xero, and Sage Accounting Software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
