About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced nurses to join our Mental Health Program. As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our team, you will work in partnership with the Emergency Department to provide mental health services to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing mental health and risk assessments, providing one-to-one supportive therapy, and delivering medical care.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong passion for mental health nursing and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working in a dynamic environment that requires flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing
  • Current BCLS Certification required at time of hire
  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience in emergency, crisis & mental health required
  • Minimum of 3 years of psychiatric emergency experience required
