Program Manager, Environment and Climate Change Specialist

About the Role:
CSA Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our Environment and Climate Change initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and execution expertise in the development of standards-based solutions for the Environment and Climate Change program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and execution leadership in the development of standards-based solutions for the Environment and Climate Change program.
- Manage a team of Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects and programs.
- Develop and implement annual business plans, including budgets and operational execution plans.
- Work with senior leaders within industry, government, and academia to develop and maintain strategic relationships.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and manage program-specific stakeholder issues.
- Manage key program funding contracts and relationships with key funders and stakeholders.
- Provide support to Strategic Initiatives Managers in the development and sustaining of Communities platforms for the program area.
- Responsible for continuously improving Customer Loyalty and employee engagement in the program area.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science, or Applied Science. A postgraduate degree in Management is a definite asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, operational management, and Program or Project management in the Environment and Climate Change area.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing people and teams.
- Knowledge of national and international standards industry, government policy, regulations, industry landscape, and funding programs/models.
- Research and analytical skills, with a high degree of self-motivation.
- Strong oral and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within a politically sensitive environment.
- Competency with major Microsoft and Project Management software.
Travel: 25% domestic travel is required.
