Senior Climate Change Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled professional who is passionate about conducting greenhouse gas (GHG) assessments and is dedicated to aiding organizations in enhancing their sustainability efforts: your expertise is invaluable

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with team members and clients;
  • Proficient in conveying findings in an accessible manner, offering actionable recommendations;
  • Educational background in engineering or environmental sciences;
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in climate change initiatives and/or environmental life cycle assessments;
  • Familiarity with established GHG accounting standards and methodologies;
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and French;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Hands-on experience with various data analysis tools (e.g., VBA for Excel, SimaPro, OpenLCA, ATHENA, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to identify and gather relevant data for project execution;
  • Establish science-based targets for reducing climate impacts;
  • Manage projects effectively, both internally and externally;
  • Guide junior analysts in their project tasks;
  • Stay updated on new methodologies and advancements in climate change mitigation and adaptation;
  • Develop strategic recommendations based on thorough analysis of results;
  • Provide expert advice on certifications and carbon offset strategies;
  • Draft reports and create presentations tailored to client needs;
  • Ensure compliance with recognized reporting frameworks (GRI, CDP, MSCI, EcoVadis, CSA, etc.).
