Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at St. John's Fish Exchange Kitchen & Wet Bar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including chefs, cooks, and servers.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure that they are meeting their job responsibilities and adhering to our company's policies and procedures.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Monitor and maintain accurate records of food inventory, sales, and waste.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
