Financial Services Relationship Manager

We are seeking a skilled Account Specialist to connect with Investment Professionals across North America on behalf of our client, a leading financial services firm. In this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, making a significant impact on our client's success.
Key Responsibilities- Daily Outbound Calls: Engage Investment Professionals through daily phone calls, generating leads and building professional relationships within a defined target segment.
- Call Activity Recording: Accurately record daily call activities and update information in our client's proprietary database.
- Industry and Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of diverse industries and financial products, including Equities, Mutual Funds, ETFs, IPOs, and Structured Products.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Work with team members to create and implement innovative outreach strategies for client campaigns.
- Administrative Support: Assist senior team members with administrative tasks and support special projects as needed.
- A university degree or college diploma in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is preferred.
- Prior experience in business development or sales, ideally within financial services, is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling responses and handle objections confidently.
- Resilience and Problem-Solving: Showcase resilience and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to turning challenges into opportunities.
- Adaptability and Strategic Thinking: Exhibit adaptability and strategic thinking, with the ability to adjust outreach techniques based on real-time feedback.
- CRM Experience: Possess experience with CRM tools to track and manage interactions and data.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Display excellent collaboration skills, with a positive team-oriented mindset.
- Financial Markets Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of financial markets or a keen interest in learning more.
- Organizational Skills: Showcase exceptional organizational skills and time management abilities.
