About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at COBS Bread Bakery. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures to ensure they align with our bakery's goals and objectives.
  • They will also be tasked with delegating work to office support staff, establishing work priorities, and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for preparing periodic reports, manuals, and correspondence, as well as performing data entry tasks.
  • They will also oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, including budgetary controls and inventory management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
