We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Nathan's Jerk. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new menu items, as well as overseeing kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Manage kitchen operations

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of international cuisine. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
