Territory Sales Representative

We are the leading Canadian provider of innovative telescopic forklift solutions, expanding nationally and seeking a dynamic sales representative to promote Merlo products in the industrial field in British Columbia.
The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for developing business in various markets, including municipal and institutional sectors, as well as emerging markets such as excavation, snow removal, and landscaping.
Main Responsibilities:
- Research and establish new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling
- Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular visits to their job sites
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales goals
- Prepare and present business cases to demonstrate the benefits and potential savings of Merlo products
- Identify customer needs and respond accordingly, understanding market conditions and competitor pricing
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in field sales or outside sales
- Demonstrated ability to grow market share
- Results-focused
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong planning and time management abilities
- Experience using a CRM
- Valid driver's license
