Job Summary


This position entails leading and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve remarkable results, expand the customer base, and foster client relationships. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, analyzing sales data, and implementing corrective actions to drive revenue growth.



Main Responsibilities


The key responsibilities of this role include:



  • Responding to client inquiries, providing product information, and offering customized solutions based on client needs;
  • Supporting partners through the preparation of rental proposals, quotes, and contracts;
  • Maximizing revenue and exceeding sales targets by upselling and cross-selling;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and prospects;
  • Providing first-class service to clients, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues promptly;
  • Leading and motivating sales coordinators, providing guidance, training, and ongoing performance evaluations;
  • Establishing and monitoring sales objectives and targets for team members and ensuring they are aligned with overall company goals;
  • Ensuring workflows are efficient and effective, providing recommendations for areas of improvement;
  • Fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team;
  • Analyzing sales data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary;
  • Assisting with input and maintenance of CRM software HubSpot to document and drive the sales process with customers;
  • Preparing regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management;
  • Implementing directed sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market potential;
  • Collaborating with peers across the sales and operations teams locally and nationally to identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities;
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities;
  • Celebrating successes and continually improving processes to achieve exceptional results.


Requirements


To excel in this role, you will need:



  • A degree or diploma from a post-secondary institution with a focus on hospitality and/or event planning, or prior event-related sales experience;
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team;
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth;
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for client meetings and events;
  • Ability to analyze sales data and generate meaningful insights/KPIs;
  • Strong presentation skills and impeccable written and verbal communication skills;
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment;
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Salary Range


$65,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
