Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Freshii. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, and collect and screen applicants.
  • Employee Onboarding: Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, review candidate inventories, and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • HR Administration: Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers, advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Skills: Electronic mail, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Internet, and strong organizational and communication skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 35 hours per week.
