Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner for a part-time position covering a 6-month maternity contract. The successful candidate will work independently, managing medical care delivery to long-term care residents and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage stable complex chronic co-morbidities in collaboration with Medical Directors
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in the course of care delivery
  • Provide high-quality customer service
  • Provide clinical/medical education to clients and staff
  • Participate in care conferencing

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric care, experience with chronic disease management, and current certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

This exciting opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $72.50-$77.50 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits, including vision care and flexible scheduling. With a focus on work-life balance, our team values autonomy and independence, providing the perfect environment for professional growth.

Requirements
  • Completion of recognized Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current extended class certification with College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Experience with chronic disease management and geriatric care
  • Current vulnerable sector police check
  • COVID vaccination
