As an RPN at peopleCare Communities, you will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse and report to the Director of Care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing nursing and personal care to residents
  • Assisting residents with daily routines and functions
  • Reviewing 24-72 hour reports at the beginning of each shift
  • Following and processing physician orders
  • Administering medications and treatments within the limitations set by the College of Nurses
  • Maintaining accurate resident records
  • Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills. You should also be proficient in the use of computer software applications, particularly Point Click Care. A Current Medication Administration Certificate and a certificate of competency from the College of Nurses of Ontario are essential requirements. Experience in Long-Term Care is considered an asset.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health and dental coverage, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
