The successful Pharmacy Manager will work closely with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes. This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and development, a comprehensive training program, and a positive and supportive work environment.

About the Role

The Lead Pharmacy Professional will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management, customer service, and medication dispensing. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes, and will work closely with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to achieve these goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and coach others. They will also have a proven track record of delivering results-driven leadership and will be able to think strategically and make informed decisions that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy staff
  2. Manage the financial and operational success of the department
  3. Ensure compliance with OCP and company regulations, policies, and procedures
  4. Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes
  5. Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to achieve departmental goals
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in retail pharmacy environment
  3. Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  4. Strong people management skills and ability to motivate and coach others
  5. Excellent customer service skills and strong sense of professionalism
  6. Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
  7. Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
  8. Strong personal computing skills (MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word) as well as knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy Computer system
