Project Manager I

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager I to join our System Strategy & Quality Analytics team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects for designated programs throughout Vancouver Coastal Health.
- Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and on budget, as described in the project plan.
- Work with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate consensus, consult, negotiate, and share information.
- Liaise with consultants, vendors, and other health care entities to negotiate contracts for the provision of goods and services.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to designated project staff.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management within the organization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or a relevant health care discipline.
- Five to seven years of recent, related experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication skills to function within a complex interdisciplinary environment.
- Computer literacy with word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management, and database applications.
- Displays comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Effectively monitors budgets and executes project plans with stringent timelines.
