Administrative Support IV Specialist

About the OpportunityWe are seeking a dynamic administrator who can thrive in a fast-paced scheduling environment that directly impacts patient care. As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for filling pre-booked and immediate shifts, anticipating staffing needs, and providing exceptional customer service to valued clients.
Key Responsibilities- Filling pre-booked and immediate shifts resulting from staff vacation, leave of absence, illness, and education leave.
- Anticipating staffing needs and informing managers of shifts requiring further attention.
- Entering data for payroll, providing scheduling reports, detailing records, and compiling statistical information.
Your ability to develop trusted relationships, facilitate effective interdisciplinary communication, and prioritize tasks with a patient-focused mindset will be essential in this role.
Requirements- Advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices, and initiatives.
- Some post-secondary education.
- Timekeeping/payroll experience.
- Call Center experience.
- Knowledge of applicable collective agreements and pay codes.
- Experience working in a unionized, healthcare, and/or 24/7 environment.
- Current experience working in an AHS centralized ESP Staffing Service Center is preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to frequent interruptions and shifting priorities. As an Administrative Support IV, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the success of our organization.
Estimated Salary Range$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
