About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our Marketplace team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our cloud-based platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable data architectures to support our growing customer base
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data products and services
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure data-driven decision making
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based architectures
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL pipeline development
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building data products incrementally and integrating data sets from multiple sources
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices and full software development life cycle
