About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at DUKH BHANJAN PHARMACY. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compound and Package Medications: Prepare and package pharmaceutical products according to prescription instructions and company protocols.
  • Bill Third-Party Insurers: Accurately process and submit claims to third-party insurers for reimbursement.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medications and prescription products, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Effectively manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that products are stored and rotated in a manner that minimizes waste and maximizes shelf life.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease and efficiency.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and to a high standard.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
  • Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, and a team player.
