Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Bayside Inn & Pub Ltd. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas.
    • Ensure that all equipment and utensils are sanitized and in good working condition.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are friendly, efficient, and respectful.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment is essential.
