Job Summary

Bayside Inn & Pub Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas.
    • Ensure that all equipment and utensils are clean and sanitized.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers have a positive dining experience.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Restock supplies and inventory as needed.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Working Conditions

The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced dining environment, with frequent exposure to noise, heat, and cleaning chemicals. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending.
