About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Bayside Inn & Pub Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Language: English.
