As a TeleNurse with HealthLink BC, you will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment providing non-emergency health information and advice to residents of BC and Yukon. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and the ability to work independently.
About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate TeleNurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing non-emergency health information and advice via telephone and web-based platforms;
- Assessing client needs and providing guidance on self-care management, health promotion, and disease prevention;
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care;
- Maintaining accurate records and documenting client interactions;
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to service evaluation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and current practicing registration as an RN with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM);
- A minimum of three years recent related experience in acute care, community health, public health, or continuing care;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders;
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care;
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Salary and Benefits
This is a permanent full-time position with a salary range of $64,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including municipal pension plan, psychological health & safety programs, and holistic wellness resources. Annual statutory holidays (13) with generous vacation entitlement and accruement.
