Healthcare Operations Lead for Telehealth Services

Job Summary:

This is a leadership role that requires a skilled and experienced nurse to oversee the operations of our telehealth services. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of nurses in providing 24/7/365 telehealth services to BC and Yukon residents.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Make day-to-day staffing decisions and take action to meet service goals and standards.
  • Provide coaching, evaluation, and feedback to staff to support their development and performance.
  • Act as a second-tier escalation support for patients and families with concerns or questions about their care.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Minimum five years recent relevant clinical nursing experience in acute care, community health, public health, or continuing care.
  • Minimum one year's recent, related experience in a formal supervisory/leadership role or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proficiency in computers, including client information system software, word-processing, spreadsheet, internet, and email.
