Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care and engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
  • Communicate with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Qualifications:



  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles and practices, with experience in program planning and implementation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to resident-centered care.
