About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our team at MCD McKesson Canada Corporation / La Corporation McKesson Canada. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion in the retail pharmacy market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to preserve and increase McKesson's Retail Banner market share and store count.
  • Lead startup projects, including site identification, business case development, and pharmacist recruitment.
  • Assess new potential opportunities and present business cases to executives for approval.
  • Manage the full transaction process, including buying and selling pharmacies, in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Perform regular competitive market analysis to adapt our offers and remain competitive.
  • Maintain and develop strong business relationships with executive stakeholders, including banking agents, accounting firms, and lawyers.
Requirements
  • College degree in administration, finance, or management, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience in the pharmaceutical or related field.
  • Valid Canadian Driver's License.
  • Strong background in negotiation, territory management, and networking.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and retail pharmacy business model is an asset.
