We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Claims Assistant II to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our lawyers, including scheduling meetings, drafting correspondence, and preparing pleadings.
The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in legal office administration or a related field, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insurance defence litigation. They will also have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and strong document management skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing an effective diary system, partnering with lawyers to manage workflow, and supporting clients with scheduling appointments and communicating case progress.
They will also be responsible for reviewing and managing documents, providing support to assistants and lawyers, and updating knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
The salary for this role will be competitive, with a range of $51,000 to $77,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
