Sessional Instructor: Low Poly Game Art, Faculty of Arts & Science
Job Summary:OCAD University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to teach a studio course on Low Poly Game Art in the Faculty of Arts & Science. The successful candidate will have a terminal degree in art, design or a relevant discipline and/or equivalent professional/practical experience.
Responsibilities:- Teach and deliver a studio course on Low Poly Game Art, including lectures, critiques, grading, and evaluations.
- Develop and implement a course outline that meets the academic and curricular requirements of the Faculty of Arts & Science.
- Provide a respectful and inclusive learning environment for students, staff, and faculty.
- Terminal degree in art, design or a relevant discipline.
- Equivalent professional/practical experience.
- Experience teaching at the post-secondary level is considered an asset.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and experience promoting a respectful and inclusive work and learning environment.
Sessional appointments are fixed-term annual contracts. Sessional compensation includes a per-course pay scale with salary level of $6, per 0.5 credit course) plus 7% in lieu of benefits and vacation pay, per the provisions of the Employment Standards Act.
