Job Title: Bilingual Drug Benefit Analyst

Medavie Blue Cross is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Drug Benefit Analyst to join our team. As a key player in our Drug Management Solutions Team, you will be responsible for maintaining provincial formularies, supporting pricing analytics and benefit updates, and managing processes such as system adjustments, quality assurance, and communication updates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update provincial formularies and pricing analytics to ensure accurate benefit information.
  • Support the development and implementation of new drug plans and programs, including onboarding of new groups and changes to existing drug plans.
  • Manage processes such as system adjustments, quality assurance, and communication updates to ensure seamless operations.
  • Respond to inquiries from operational areas regarding drug management issues and provide timely support.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver quality operational service and develop detailed process documentation for all related aspects of the role.
Required Qualifications:
  • College or other post-secondary education in healthcare, business, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of related experience, preferably in pharmacy technician or clinical experience, with a strong foundation in data analysis and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to manipulate data, with a willingness to expand proficiency in Excel formulas and functions.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is required to meet the needs of our English-speaking clientele.
