Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Mountainview Medical Centre & Walk-In Clinic Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical staff, maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview patients to obtain case histories and maintain accurate records
  • Manage incoming mail and other materials, and distribute them to the appropriate staff members
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain a high level of customer service
  • Complete insurance and other claim forms, and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain a secure and organized filing system, and ensure confidentiality of patient records
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory, and ensure the clinic is well-stocked
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines, and ensure they are followed
  • Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
  • Provide exceptional customer service, and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
