Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Mountainview Medical Centre & Walk-In Clinic Inc.

Job Summary:

The Medical Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to our medical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This includes scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date files.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare providers
  • Manage patient records, including updating demographic information and medical history
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, both physical and electronic
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing
  • Assist with the preparation of medical reports and correspondence
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a medical office setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
