Opportunity

Unified Alloys, a leading supplier of specialty steel and alloy products, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Receiver to join our team in Edmonton. As an integral member of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate receipt of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process shipments in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of received products to ensure quality and quantity meet company standards.
  • Verify all documentation, including Mill Test Reports, is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain accurate records of received products, including inventory levels and quality control data.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Coordinator to ensure products are stored in designated areas and easily accessible for order picking.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns related to product receipt or storage.
  • Identify and document non-conformances, following established procedures for reporting and resolution.
  • Assist with order picking and packing as needed, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including Quality, Health and Safety requirements, and ISO standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, including inventory management, product placement, and order picking.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management software.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, saws, and other machinery.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
