About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Digital Communications Specialist to join our team at Queen's University. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans that align with the university's goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and programs, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee the preparation of high-quality public written materials, including reports, briefs, and website content.
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products, providing insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Gather, research, and prepare communications materials, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Review project plans to approve or recommend design changes, ensuring alignment with the university's brand and messaging.
What You'll Need
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as communications, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital communications, with a focus on strategy development and implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling content for various audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and improve communication strategies.
  • Experience with market research and analysis, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
