EFW Radiology is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Systems Specialist to join our team.

The Role

  • Provide technical assistance to end-users, including radiologists, technologists, and support staff, in the design and implementation of new clinical systems.
  • Develop and deliver training on required systems and procedures to ensure seamless adoption and utilization.
  • Assist with operational assignments to maintain data integrity of clinical application systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Analyze technical and operational problems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams and/or vendor representatives to resolve complex issues and improve system performance.
  • Troubleshoot performance and capacity concerns to ensure optimal system functionality and minimize downtime.
  • Work with software vendors to understand product paths and plan for major upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of patient data protection.

Requirements

  • 5 years' experience working in a radiology or healthcare environment in a technical, administrative, or clinical role.
  • Fluent in English – written and oral.
  • A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with minimal supervision and high accountability.
  • Experience with Agfa Impax, Visage RIS, Kailo Sonoreview, Powerscribe 360, Mirth Connect, Astraia, Accuro, and other similar medical applications.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to travel within Calgary and area for clinic visits as operationally required.
  • Regular business hours are typical for this position, however, the incumbent may have to work irregular and flexible hours to meet the demands of the position.
  • Works in an office environment, with prolonged sitting and computer keyboarding.
