We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Edmonton North - Clinic Floater location. This is a full-time position that offers a challenging and rewarding career in the healthcare industry.

Role Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and physicians while executing on the organization's strategic objectives related to clinic operations and patient care. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic testing as ordered by the physician, including urinalysis, simple blood glucose testing, and pregnancy testing;
- Execute various care interventions and medical procedures permitted by the physician within the designated scope of practice;
- Aware of Medicentres' core purpose and core values and perform to these values on an ongoing basis;
- Accurately chart any medical procedures or interventions performed in the patient chart;
- Participate in the training and orientation of new medical staff and students;
- Maintain current registration and good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta;
- Demonstrate proficiency with Med Access software and ability to handle confidential information in compliance with Health Information Act guidelines;
- Showcase strong computer skills, including Excel.
- Degree in Licensed Practical Nursing from an accredited institution;
- Current registration and in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta;
- Experience with Med Access software is preferred;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Physical ability to perform job requirements.
$85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
