Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Jia Retail Services Inc. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 staff members and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and arrange for training of staff members, as well as establish work schedules and resolve issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to multitask and work under pressure is essential.
