We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Jia Retail Services Inc. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 staff members and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members.
- Hiring and Training: Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff members to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that stock is adequate and that products are displayed attractively.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff members' progress and provide feedback for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. The ability to multitask and work under pressure is essential.
