We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Jia Retail Services Inc. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 staff members and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, ensuring they are meeting their performance goals and providing excellent customer service.
- Hire, train, and develop staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Store Operations
- Establish and maintain work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient store operations.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
- Manage cash handling and reconcile discrepancies.
- Customer Service
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive experience in our store.
- Performance Management
- Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff members' progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement plans to address performance gaps and improve overall staff performance.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience
- At least 7 months of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with regular exposure to cash handling and customer service. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and store operations.
