Reservations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reservations Supervisor to join our team at Northwood Plaza Hotel and Banquet Room. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the hotel's reservations and guest services.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments: Collaborate with our front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Establish work schedules and procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our guests and hotel operations.
- Perform same duties as workers supervised: Demonstrate a strong understanding of our hotel's policies and procedures by performing tasks similar to those of our front desk staff.
- Prepare and submit reports: Accurately and timely prepare and submit reports on guest feedback, room occupancy, and other relevant metrics.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality: Analyze and resolve guest complaints, provide technical guidance to front desk staff, and suggest improvements to our hotel's operations.
- Assist clients/guests with special needs: Provide exceptional service to guests with special needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work: Effectively coordinate and assign tasks to front desk staff, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies: Recruit, train, and develop our front desk staff to meet the needs of our hotel and guests.
- Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery: Ensure the smooth operation of our hotel's computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repairs as needed.
- Requisition materials and supplies: Procure necessary materials and supplies to maintain our hotel's high standards of service and quality.
- 1 year to less than 2 years: Previous experience in a similar role or in a related field is required.
- Support for persons with disabilities: Participate in initiatives that support persons with disabilities, such as mentorship programs and accessible recruitment policies.
- Support for newcomers and refugees: Participate in programs that support newcomers and refugees, such as language training and social integration initiatives.
- Support for youths: Participate in initiatives that support youth employment, such as on-the-job training and mentorship programs.
- Support for Indigenous people: Participate in initiatives that support Indigenous people, such as cultural competency training and community engagement.
- Supports for visible minorities: Participate in initiatives that support visible minorities, such as hiring policies and diversity training.
