Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum

Job Description

The successful candidate will be an effective leader with a strong track record in building institutions and public relations. As the Executive Director of the Cégep Heritage College Foundation, you will work closely with the Chair, Executive Committee, Committees, volunteers, College Directors, employees, and students. Your primary responsibility will be to run the day-to-day operations of the Foundation office, ensuring all proposals or activities are properly prepared for consideration by the appropriate Foundation Committee(s) or Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance to the Board on policy development, operations, and initiatives;
  • Ensure the smooth execution of daily Foundation operations;
  • Attend, report, and provide input at Executive and all Board meetings as a non-voting ex-officio member;
  • Develop and implement short and long-range strategic plans and goals for the Foundation;
  • Collaborate with Committee and Board members to develop Committee mandates and integrate them into the annual Board Work Plan;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Conduct research and develop initiatives to increase the effectiveness and positive influence of the Foundation;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Marketing & Fundraising, or a related field;
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills, with experience in building institutions and public relations;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Mature judgement and accountability, with a strong understanding of the business and philanthropic reality of the region and province;
  • Bilingualism in English and French (reading, writing, and spoken);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and CRM programs;
