Your Role

Our Infrastructure Advisory practice is expanding rapidly. We are seeking a leader who is well-versed in partnering with clients as trusted advisors on major federal infrastructure projects across Canada. Our interdisciplinary team provides guidance to public and private sector clients on a wide range of projects in the water, transportation, energy, healthcare, and social infrastructure/civic buildings markets. As a Director – Infrastructure Advisory, you will contribute to the strategic direction and leadership of the business as a member of the Infrastructure Advisory leadership team. You will also demonstrate leadership in the industry and actively enhance Colliers Project Leaders’ Infrastructure Advisory profile. You will be expected to identify, secure, and deliver assignments while managing the Canadian Federal Government Infrastructure Advisory client relationships and satisfaction on engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Infrastructure Advisory team and lead the implementation, management, growth, and continuous improvement of advisory services and attached deliverables across various specializations, including feasibility studies, business cases, capital planning, Indigenous Procurement Plans, and procurement strategies.
  • Manage challenging assignments in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders’ high delivery standards, including managing a small team to these standards.
  • Lead the identification and conversion of opportunities to further grow our business with the Canadian Federal Government and Crown Corporations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure advisory services or a related field.
  • Strong drive to develop business efforts on behalf of the Infrastructure Advisory Business Unit.
  • Deep understanding of Federal Government departments and delivery methodologies.
  • Strong consulting skills, including presentation, stakeholder facilitation, business case and report writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Financial and commercial acumen, familiarity with complex financial models, and a deep understanding of capital project development.
  • Ability to adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations to client needs.
  • Strong organizational skills, enabling the management of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated client engagement and business development capabilities and experience, as well as a proven track record of business development and experience identifying opportunities for future business growth in the advisory sector.
  • A demonstrated portfolio of work experience leading client engagements within the Canadian Federal Government infrastructure advisory sector.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and experience working with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to communicate and effectively engage with a diverse group of clients at the senior management, executive, and board levels.
  • Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance.

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $130,000 to $180,000

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
