Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Banking Associate to join our team at Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for facilitating decision-making and analysis of credit information to support lending decisions and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments to ensure sound lending decisions.
  • Develop and implement cross-selling initiatives to increase penetration with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of lending processes.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements
  • Typically between 5-7 years of relevant experience in commercial banking or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency in credit analysis and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
