About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Banking Associate to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Commercial Sales & Service team, you will play a critical role in facilitating decision-making and analysis of credit information to support lending decisions and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments to ensure accurate and informed lending decisions.
  • Develop and implement effective cross-selling initiatives to increase penetration with clients and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of lending processes.
  • Provide exceptional client service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to maintain expertise and provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Participate in the development of financial models and other analytical tools to assist clients in evaluating capital structure.
  • Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
