Job Overview

We are seeking a Client Service Specialist to join our team, working closely with experts in technology, investment, and program development. This role will play a vital part in amplifying the impact of our supported organizations by connecting them with key resources like technology and talent.

Responsibilities:
  • Foster strong relationships with portfolio leadership, technology leads, and venture team members to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the venture industry, sector, region, and overall operating context to provide informed support.
  • Work closely with clients to deploy technology and talent support offerings, tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs.
  • Facilitate regular milestone check-ins and engagement opportunities to maximize value for both the client and NearSource Technologies.
  • Document recommendations and outcomes in partnership success plans, leveraging the company's in-kind support.
Operational Requirements:
  • Update and maintain partnership resources across internal systems, ensuring seamless communication and data management.
  • Collect and document feedback from completed engagements to assess the effectiveness of technology and talent support provided.
  • Identify insights and trends to share with the NearSource Technologies team and broader community, enhancing activities such as impact measurement, storytelling, and award nominations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in supporting entrepreneurs, social impact innovators, ventures, or nonprofits is essential.
  • A passion for sustainability and social impact topics, including climate change and workforce development, is highly valued.
  • A service-oriented mindset, committed to responsiveness and supporting portfolio needs to achieve desired outcomes.
  • A proactive, eager team player with a continuous learning and improvement outlook.
  • Proficiency in data management tools, such as Fluxx, Airtable, HubSpot, and Microsoft Excel, is necessary.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
