Summer Sustainability and Impact Coordinator

Royal Bank of Canada is committed to making a positive impact in the community, and we are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support our sustainability initiatives as a Summer Sustainability and Impact Coordinator.
About the Role
The Summer Sustainability and Impact Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the administration of multiple programs that enable RBC employees to volunteer in their communities. This includes maintaining charity databases, creating employee impact program resources, and supporting the execution of marketing activations and community partner events.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration of the Communities Together Fund program to enable employees to participate in team volunteerism
- Maintain charity databases
- Create employee impact program resources, including process guides, and manage employee program-related inquiries
- Support the creation of a new community utility resource site by sourcing content and contributing to web design
- Support the execution of marketing activations and community partner events
- Support updating content across Sustainability & Impact internal and external websites
Requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong personal skills and the ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
- Highly organized with an attention to detail
- Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications or Sustainability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in event planning or marketing activations
- Previous experience in content management
