About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Social Services Portfolio Advisor to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will support organizations in Energy & Materials, Health & Resilience, and Work & Prosperity by connecting them with key resources like technology and talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with portfolio leadership, technology leads, and venture team members.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the ventures industry, sector, region, and overall operating context.
  • Cultivate familiarity with the full range of technology and talent support offerings available to Foundation portfolio ventures and deploy these services as needed.
  • Serve as a strategic matchmaker, connecting portfolio ventures with suitable support services to maximize value for both the venture and the company.
  • Document recommendations and outcomes in partnership success plans, leveraging the company's in-kind support.
Operational Expectations:
  • Collect and document feedback from completed engagements to assess the success and impact of technology and talent support provided.
  • Identify insights and trends to share with the Foundation team and broader company community, enhancing activities like impact measurement, storytelling, award nominations, and more.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience supporting entrepreneurs, social impact innovators, ventures, or nonprofits. A passion for sustainability and social impact topics, including climate change and workforce development, is also essential. Your service-oriented mindset, commitment to responsiveness, and ability to support portfolio needs to achieve desired outcomes are crucial. Additionally, you should be a proactive, eager team player with a continuous learning and improvement outlook. Proficiency in data management tools, such as Fluxx, Airtable, HubSpot, and Microsoft Excel, is required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
