Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for selling new and used whole goods product within their designated sales territory. This includes maintaining current knowledge of products and equipment, staying up-to-date on customers' business activities, and developing marketing strategies for the territory.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sell new and used whole goods product within the designated sales territory
- Complete all sales documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain current knowledge of product and equipment
- Keep informed about customers' business activities and needs
- Develop marketing strategies for the territory
- Prepare customer status reports as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Able to build relationships and prospect new accounts
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in sales or related field
- Knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset
- Able to obtain or have a valid passport for international travel
- Recent driver's abstract will be required
